Mission
The Former Military POW Foundation, formerly known as The American Ex-Prisoners of War Service Foundation, works to inform former POWs, their widows or widowers, of their entitled benefits and to help them obtain needed health care, welfare or rehabilitation; to assist veterans in their efforts to apply for and receive just and adequate compensation; to support educational programs designed to inform Americans about the POW experience; and other such activities as may be approved by the Service Foundation's board of directors.
