Mission

Catholic Charities of the East Bay (CCEB) s a diverse, multi-service human services agency. Since 1935, it has played a central role in providing social services and advocacy to those most in need in Contra Costa and Alameda counties regardless of their religious faith. CCEB services people in need who reside in the East Bay. These include the elderly, the hungry and the homeless, families and children, immigrants and refugees, the unemployed and underemployed, people with HIV/AIDS, victims of violence, at-risk youth, and others. The mission of Catholic Charities is to serve those most in need, while calling for justice in the community. Catholic Charities recognizes its responsibility to effect social change through advocating and acting for just social policies.
