Mission

Catholic Charities, Diocese of Venice is a social service agency that provides services in the ten-county area of Southwest Florida. Catholic Charities during 2007 served 38,468 of your southwest Florida neighbors in need. Through 32 program locations, Catholic Charities assisted people in the 10 counties of the Diocese of Venice. Last year we assisted 26,947 individuals in economic hardship by providing social services including direct assistance, food, clothing, prescription medicines, and case management. Our services include adoption services, after school tutoring, affordable counseling, disaster response services, elderly outreach, Hispanic services, two HIV/AIDS community centers, immigration services, School on Wheels and more.
