Mission
In 1983, the chapter now recognized as the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, was originally founded in northeast Ohio. The mission of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana is headquartered in Columbus, OH and has five regional offices in Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Louisville, and Indianapolis, with two satellite offices in Lexington, KY and Youngstown, OH. We have proudly granted over 7,300 wishes to date, and hope to eliminate the backlog of pending wishes for the next two years.
