Mission

The mission of the United Way of Santa Cruz County is to improve the lives of the people of Santa Cruz County by convening the community to identify and seek solutions to their needs and by efficiently raising funds for the human care programs we support. In efforts to meet the goals of our mission, United Way raises and invests $1.3 million dollars a year from individual givers and corporations in the thirty-three health and human service organizations and in other non-profit organizations chosen by our donors. We support programs and special initiatives that strengthen young people and families, improve health and wellness, help neighbors in crisis, support older adults and care for people with special physical or mental challenges.
