Mission
Founded in 1994, the mission of the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF) is to fund research to find a method of early detection and ultimately a cure for ovarian cancer. In support of our mission, we help patients and their loved ones understand the disease and its treatment, and provide outreach programs to raise public awareness. As an organization committed to finding better ways to detect, treat, and ultimately cure ovarian cancer, we believe that future advances in ovarian cancer research lie in the hands of researchers. Since 1998, we have awarded over $28 million grants to 128 of the brightest women and men in the field today at over 40 leading medical centers across the country.
