Mission

Founded in 1979, Interfaith Outreach & Community Partners (IOCP) works to identify and respond to the basic unmet needs of people in our community, and to assist them in moving toward self-sufficiency through the creative action of an inclusive partnership of communities of faith, schools, government, businesses, community groups, foundations, health systems, and individuals. OCP strengthens the communities it serves by creating opportunities that empower families and individuals to change their lives. We focus those opportunities around housing, child care, transportation, employment, and community connections. When families we serve have choices in these areas-housing they can afford, a better job, quality child care, a car to get to work, a feeling of belonging-they are able to move forward in building a better life.
