Mission

Founded in 1954, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Utah State Chapter is the local extension of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The Utah State Chapter, located in Salt Lake City, provides a wide variety of programs, fundraisers, activities, and services statewide for Utahns with multiple sclerosis (MS), their families, and friends. Our goal is to develop programs and services that promote knowledge, health, and independence. The objective is always to empower the person with MS to lead a productive and fulfilling life. The Utah State Chapter strives to achieve its mission by helping people with MS in the following areas: emotional health, physical health, knowledge of MS, family and social support, independent living, long-term care, employment, and accessibility.
