Mission

Fisher House is a home-away-from-home for the families of seriously ill or injured patients receiving treatment at Wilford Hall Medical Center, the Air Force's premier medical facility. Service members, parents, spouses, other relatives, or anybody supporting seriously ill or injured inpatients at Wilford Hall are eligible to stay at the two Fisher Houses and the Fisher House Inn for Children. Pediatric outpatients and their families are accommodated at the Inn for Children; other outpatients and their families may be accommodated at the other Fisher Houses on a space-available basis. In 2007, the Fisher House provided food and lodging to approximately 284 families.
