Mission

The mission of the Acadiana Outreach Center, is to help give people back their God-given dignity by transforming lives to reach their highest potential. We serve the south Louisiana parishes of Lafayette, Acadia, Cameron, Iberia, Vermilion, Evangeline, St. Landry, St. Martin and St. Mary. We provide emergency shelters, job training and placement, food and clothing distribution, transitional housing, substance abuse recovery, transportation financial assistance, life skills training, holiday meals, and toy distribution. Over the course of a year, we provide direct services to more than 3,800 men, women, and children, deliver over 165,000 units of service, house more than 300 people in our shelters, and touch over 5,000 additional lives through community outreach efforts.
