Action Against Hunger-USA is part of the ACF International Network, an agency established specifically to combat global hunger. The mission of Action Against Hunger is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection, and treatment of malnutrition, especially during and after emergency situations of conflict, war and natural disaster. Recognized worldwide as a leader in the fight against hunger, Action Against Hunger delivers programs in more than 40 countries, specializing in emergency situations of war, conflict, and natural disasters and longer-term assistance to people in distress. By integrating our programs with local and national systems we further ensure that short-term interventions become long-term solutions.
