Mission

Bucknell University was founded in 1846 and has earned its reputation as one of the nation's top liberal arts institutions. At the same time, our University features outstanding professional programs in engineering, business, education, and music, as well as nationally ranked programs and pre-professional advising that prepare students for success in law and medicine. The academic community inspires a passion for learning and emphasizes undergraduate research, leadership, service, and close collaborative interaction between all students and faculty.
