Mission
Founded in 1979, Medical Teams International's mission is to demonstrate the love of Christ to people affected by disaster, conflict and poverty around the world. We implement and support programs that address the causes and effects of inadequate health care. Our initiatives include training and education to build the skill and capacity of our partners, volunteers, staff and those we serve in order to produce sustainable change. Our programs include: medical services and training; community health and development; HIV and AIDs; emergency medical services; disaster response; humanitarian aid; mobile dental; and children's ministry. Medical Teams International is working in 32 countries in five regions- Africa, East Asia, Eurasia, Latin America and North America.
