Mission

The Partnership for a Drug-Free America is a coalition of professionals from the communications industry. What began in 1986 as a three-year endeavor to unsell drugs to the American public has turned into the largest public service campaign in our nation's history. Best known for its national, media-based education campaigns, the Partnership's mission is to reduce illicit drug use in America. Throughout its two decades, the Partnership has grown from simple advertising into a drug prevention and treatment resource, existing to help reduce illicit drug use in America by reaching out to those whose lives have been changed forever by drug abuse and encouraging families to live healthy, drug-free lives.
