Mission

United Way of Metropolitan Dallas is the largest private funding source of health and human services in North Texas. Our mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of our communities. United Way of Metropolitan Dallas leads a powerful movement to build strong, successful families and a better North Texas, a movement that touches lives more than one million times each year. Working with a network of dedicated volunteers, we collaborate with more than 100 of our region's best community organizations to deliver health and human service programs that improve the lives of children and adults from all walks of life. Our focus areas are: helping children and youth achieve their potential; promoting independence and financial stability; and improving health.
