Mission

The mission of CHN is to develop affordable housing for low- and moderate-income Clevelanders, with a special emphasis on generating pathways out of poverty and providing homeownership opportunities. CHN carries out this mission by working in partnership with community development corporations to develop capital and manage programs that generate hope and healthy market forces in Cleveland's neighborhoods. Since 1981, we have been making a difference in Cleveland by: assisting families achieve the dream of homeownership by developing 2,400 quality homes; developing 1,350 new construction and renovated homes; and improving the skills, employability and homeownership potential of over 7,000 residents.
