Mission

Established in 1982, the Jewish Foundation for Group Homes (JFGH) is a non-sectarian community residential program serving adults, age 18 and older, with developmental disabilities, emotional/ behavioral issues, and/or chronic mental illness. We provide long term support, personal assistance services, and training to enhance independent living skills. Today, JFGH serves more than 150 individuals in more than 60 homes, apartments, and other living arrangements throughout Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia.
