Mission

The New World Symphony (NWS), America's Orchestral Academy, prepares highly-gifted graduates of distinguished music programs for leadership roles in orchestras and ensembles around the world. Established in 1987, the program is structured as an intensive, three-year fellowship program, offering a wide range of performance and educational opportunities in both domestic and international venues. The NWS presents a full season of concerts at the Lincoln Theatre, including full-orchestra concerts, a chamber music series, a new music series, small ensemble concerts, a family series, and special festivals and recitals. The NWS is dedicated to the artistic, personal and professional development of outstanding instrumentalists.
