Mission

Founded in 1920, United Way of the Columbia-Willamette's mission is helping people, changing lives, and making every contribution count. Our funding is targeted at our community's most serious challenges, and focuses on their underlying causes. Our community impact areas are: health and wellness- promoting health and safety; helping hands- getting people involved in their neighborhoods and community, connecting people to help in time of need; successful kids- helping kids succeed in life and school; and tools for living- helping people to live independently and with dignity.
