Mission

Catholic Charities, Diocese of Venice is a social service agency that provides services in the ten-county area of Southwest Florida. During the year 2006, Catholic Charities provided social services to 40,166 people in the ten-county Diocese of Venice in Southwest Florida. Catholic Charities served your neighbors in need through 31 program locations. Last year we assisted 29,729 families, children and elderly individuals in economic hardship by providing social services including direct assistance, food, clothing, prescription medicines, and case management. Our services include adoption services, after school tutoring, affordable counseling, elderly outreach, Hispanic services, two HIV/AIDS community centers, immigration services, School on Wheels and more.
