Mission
Beyond Borders got its official start in 1993 as a spin-off of the Evangelical Association for the Promotion of Education (EAPE). EAPE was founded by Dr. Tony Campolo, a sociologist and well-known Christian speaker and author. The mission of Beyond Borders is to work for justice and peace out of devotion to Christ by fostering sharing and understanding across cultural and economic borders. Beyond Borders focuses on the division created by the growing economic disparity in our world. Our work includes providing literacy and basic education for Haiti's children, transformational travel opportunities, teacher training, and our Campaign to End Child Servitude.
