Mission

Mama's kitchen provides over 250,000 meals and 6,000 bags of groceries annually to men, women and children whose lives have been devastated by severe poverty and a threatening illness. Founded in 1990 to provide meals for low- income clients with AIDS, we expanded our mission to include people illnesses such as cancer, heart disease, kidney failure and many others. Our 719 volunteers and 11 paid employees deliver health, love and hope to residents of San Diego County who need and deserve our compassion and our helping hand.
