Mission

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Foundation provides valuable services that improve the lives of all veterans, military service personnel, their families and communities. Our varied programs include free long-distance communication options for troops in Iraq, Afghanistan, and military hospitals through distribution of telephone cards (almost 9,000,000 so far) and Cyber café calling days; free financial grants for military members and families in need to help pay for rent, mortgage, utilities, medical treatment and food, etc; case worker assistance with the filing of disability related claims and medical treatment with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs; etc. All of our services are without charge.
