Mission
Founded in 1987, United Animal Nations (UAN) is North America's leading provider of emergency animal sheltering and disaster relief services and a key advocate for the critical needs of animals. UAN assists animals by helping to prevent, mitigate and resolve crises. The Emergency Animal Rescue Service (EARS) program shelters and rescues animals displaced during disasters across the United States. Through LifeLine, UAN offers funding to rescue groups, good samaritans and others to help them obtain lifesaving veterinary care for animals. PMURescue.org helps people adopt mares and foals from the Premarin drug industry who would otherwise be sent to slaughter.
