Mission

Founded in 1897, Neighborhood House is a multicultural, multilingual community center with programming for all ages and open doors for all people and is often a first stop for new immigrants and refugees. Neighborhood House provides programs and services to individuals and families through emergency assistance, long-term social assistance, youth activities, family enrichment, culturally specific education and empowerment initiatives, AmeriCorps*Youth Works, scholarships for graduating high school students and adult heads of household, and seniors programming, including home-delivered meals, Asian Meals on Wheels, and Home Share. Neighborhood House is a place where participants' assets can be turned into successful futures.
