Mission
The American Foundation for Disabled Children serves as an advocate for disabled children. American Foundation for Disabled Children provides educational campaigns to promote the translation of leisure books into Braille for the needs of disabled children. In addition, American Foundation for Disabled Children provides outdoor experience events for disabled children such as sporting events, concerts, fishing, and camping. The organization also provides supplies, wheelchairs, computer software/hardware to homes and institutions assisting disabled groups of children and runs public education/advocacy programs for disabled children.
