Mission
The mission of the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. (NBCF) is to save lives by increasing awareness of breast cancer through education and by providing mammograms for those in need. NBCF constantly strives to expand efforts to reach women and give them hope with life-saving education and mammography services. The Foundation establishes and builds relationships with hospitals and clinics across the country to reach out to the surrounding communities, especially to underinsured women who might not otherwise have access to mammograms. NBCF provided more than 22,000 free mammograms for underinsured women in America in 2006.
