Mission

Irving Cares was organized in 1957 as Irving Aid by a group of citizens in Irving who were interested in the social welfare of the needy people in their community. Irving Cares, in partnership with the Irving community, is dedicated to providing its residents with temporary assistance and training to promote self-sufficiency. We offer a holistic menu of services to a diverse and needy population. We affect lives by concentrating our efforts on programs and services that are proactive, preventative, and contain client partnership. Each of our programs is measured for effectiveness and efficiency, and our caring volunteers and staff provide people an opportunity to pursue success in their lives with dignity.
