This month, a dozen children’s charities received ‘good’ to ‘excellent’ reviews of their Financial Health and Accountability & Transparency thanks to an ongoing collaboration between the Hobbs Foundation and Charity Navigator.
This is the eighth consecutive year that the Tampa-based Hobbs Foundation, known for its support of charities that benefit children, has partnered with Charity Navigator to expand the number of charities we rate. As a result of the partnership, donors have free access to trusted analytical information on many of the best-known charities serving the needs of children in the south. In all, the Hobbs Foundation has provided funding for the evaluation of more than 150 children’s charities. Charity Navigator had final say over which charities were included and the Hobbs Foundation had no input into the ratings.
To the right is a list of the latest charities to receive evaluations as a result of this partnership. Click here to view the complete list of charities rated as a result of funding from the Hobbs Foundation.
