The Charity Navigator Charity Search API is an interface that allows you to incorporate Charity Navigator search results directly into your own site. This service provides the ability to construct a search and return charity records that match a certain set of criteria based on attribute values. This API is used for real time lookup.

- Host Charity Navigator’s search box and results on your own website.
- Customize the colors and branding to match your existing webpages.
- Search based on charity name or keyword.
- Display the following fields in your results: charity name, city, state, category, cause, tag line.
- Access more than 5,000 charity records. Page through those results 25 at a time.
Restrictions
- We require that each application using this API use an ID number. The ID must be sent with each request.
- We limit the frequency by which any computer may access this service to 5,000 queries per IP per day.
- The Charity Navigator Charity Search API is a free service, available for non-commercial web sites.
