AMC Cancer Research Center

We see a world without cancer

Explanation for two star rating

In 2005, AMC Cancer Research Center affiliated with the University of Colorado Cancer Center to enhance the research and treatment taking place at the only NCI-designated Cancer Center in the Rocky Mountain Region. In the past, government and private-sector grants secured by the researchers and doctors of the center were part of the income of AMC. Since the affiliation took place the grants are no longer counted in the income of AMC, though we retain our status as an independent 501(c)3 and enjoy the support of many individuals and corporations. This change is reflected in the decline of the income and growth categories. However, now also doing business as AMC Cancer Fund, we continue to be committed to the research, treatment and prevention of cancer and are dedicated to raising funds and awareness to support the innovative and excellent work taking place at the University of Colorado Cancer Center.
