Heritage Foundation CEO salary too high

As a donor who, like so many others, sacrifices to give money to charities, I was devastated and demoralized to see the high salary paid to the CEO of The Heritage Foundation. I will no longer support this organization.
Leaders Pay

I am in agreement with Watchdog08. Too many of our CEO's are paid WAY too much money annually & by all the stock deals & Golden parachutes & such. 1 thousand a day should be the MAX anybody should be paid! Spread that money around & lower the product price &/or Service price to make all biz's fair to their customers. Also raise the pay of worthwhile Associates who earn it!

the president makes WAY too much money - relative to other charities, relative to overall expenses, and relative to what CHARITABLE organizations ought to be paying in terms of reasonable salaries. Can't Ed live on a bit less than 3/4 of a MILLION?

C E O pay

I was much suprised to see several comments regarding Heritage CEO salary. You pay a CEO enough to get the job done and enough to keep him from leaving for a better job somewhere else. If he is good and does his job well pay whatever it takes to keep him, if not fire him.
