One Of The Best Charities

I have been a supporter of Plan USA since I was a child. I started with them whan I was 12 years old when my Uncle taught me about the value of giving to those in need. I've had three kids as sponsored children over the past 20 years.

Their programs are excellent and provide real value for every dollar donated. What makes Plan USA so unique is that they are non-secular and non-political. Their programs help individual families and villages to become self sufficient and develop their local comunities.

I learned at an early age how much difference $20.00 a month can make to a whole family's life.

They deliver 80% of every dollar to the sponsored children and families. Their fundraising methods are also exemplary. No hard sell. No emotional exploitation. Just the fact that so little will go so far.

I am proud to have been a Plan USA sponsor for these years and highly recommend them to those seeking to make a difference.

I have been a Plan sponsor for several years now and have watched my sponsor child, Evans, become a young man. There are a multitude of reasons that I believe in Plan. Most important to me is that a small monthly donation goes a very long way to provide for your sponsor child and their village by providing fresh water, schools, and health facilities. It is a great feeling to know that you are contributing to a better more healthy life for those who don't take for granted things like water, education, and proper health care.

The experience has also been a wonderful opportunity to educate my own children in an effort to keep life in perspective. "Things" just aren't important but giving back to society and helping make the world a better place elicits more gratification than any material item can.

Being a Plan sponsor feels good!

I’m an intern at Plan, so I have an inside look at how the organization works. Plan takes funds from donations and child sponsorships, and creates these effective programs abroad in developing countries. My grandfather has been sponsoring a child with Plan for several years, so I’ve heard about the organization for awhile. However, as an intern I’ve been learning so much more about all of the things that Plan can achieve in developing communities. I love the way the whole community can benefit from the child-centered programs. Plan is involved in enabling people to help themselves. This means that the cycle of poverty can actually be broken down. I will definitely be an advocate for this charity long after I finish my internship.
