Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life
The largest Jewish campus organization in the world
The largest waste receptacle for Jewish money

Hillel is a disaster. This is an organization that is incapable of providing substantive Jewish programming on campus and thus focuses on promoting liberalism and multiculturalism, a strategy that evokes images of a car wash operating in a thunderstorm.
Better to give your money to Aish HaTorah, Chabad, or Ohr Somayach. These organizations may not have armies of fundraisers to massage the egos of their donors, but Jewish students who attend their programs emerge proud to be Jewish and more knowledgable of the Torah and Jewish tradition.

As a student enjoying the fruits of the Hillel organization, I couldn't disagree with you more.
Your claims have a sub-text that you do not acknowledge. You suggest that, instead of giving to an organization which offers multi- or non-denominational programming to give students an opportunity to experience multiple ways of being Jews, that we should all pour our money into ultra-Orthodox organizations. Aish, Chabad and Ohr Samayach all conduct condescending outreach and claim to be inheriters of "True" Judaism. This is a major misservice to the Jewish community as it creates balei tshuvah who resent their upbringing, are disgusted by their "assimilated" ancestors and go on to do more religious outreach. Extremism in any situation is bad and you suggest supporting it with our hard earned dollars. This is just flat out dishonest.
We've made it this far running around saying the "sky is falling." Well it hasn't. This isn't the time to donate to zealots.
