WRR is a true haven for wildlife

I support WRR and the great work they do for injured or sickened wildlife. Their commitment to the welfare of each and every animal is readily apparent, and Lynn Cuny is a fierce advocate for every creature's right to life with dignity. I donate personally, and raise funds for WRR on my nature blog. I will continue to spread the word about this valuable charity and hope to encourage others to join me in supporting WRR.

I've been contributing to WRR for at least 10 years, and have even used their services occasionally when a hapless victim of human encroachment gets in the way of "progress." WRR struggles each year to serve the thousands of mostly young animals, raises them to independence and releases them back into the wild, in protected lands where they can live out their lives in peace. Those too injured to survive on their own have a permanent home to live out their lives, free from gawking humans to frighten them. I truly respect the few selfless employees and many volunteers that serve WRR every day, 24 hours, to be there when the animals need them most.

WRR is a growing organization to meet a growing need caused by continuing growth of the Austin/San Antonio area. They speak for the animals, because they can't speak for themselves.

I truly support this organization with my heart and my checkbook.
