Very fishy - no verifiable charity work at all

Note that this "charity" cannot be found on the IRS 990 Finder

Even their own website offers little real proof that they have done anything beyond their heyday of local involvement back in the mid-80s. Besides two supposed shipments to two obscure missions in Latin American countries, (really?), nothing at all.

Phone calls

I have been getting very, very rude phone calls from this service. Sometimes 3 a day for the past couple of weeks. I have asked repeatedly to remove my name & phone # to no avail. If this continues, I will be forced to contact my local Attorney General's Office. My name is Joyce Harris at 850-265-8396. Please remove my name & # from your calling list.

If you do not like these calls

The Secretary of State of Washington State has a website of info on this "non-profit." http://www.secstate.wa.gov/charities/search_detail.aspx?charity_id=4890

If you do not enjoy these phone calls, I suggest you contact your local Attorney General's Office, Charitable Division. Have the name of the charity, address, and phone number. Also collect same info if a Commercial Fundraiser is calling you.

Very few charities call you themselves. Most likely the AG will send a letter on your behalf to the charity/fundraiser requesting to remove your name, phone number, and address from their lists, and to not contact you again.
