We have joined the Alliance of Arizona Non-profits which has numerous leadership programs and guidence available by a phone call for professional help during this difficult pandemic.
The Alliance for the Vitalyst Health https://vitalysthealth.org/. Aside from the many classes they offer our leadership, we also have submitted for a statewide program grant of $150,000. which will include their mentorship.
Our CEO has also been elected the Vice Chair of Gov. Ducey's AZ State Citizen Corp council to guide the state into more efective coalition work from 10/1/21 to 9/30/23.

We belong to 16 local and state coalitions such as Az Veterans Stand Down, United Ways Project Connect and others plus we are forming a Resieliecy Based Coalition out of the Fema/Medical reserve corp 2473.
We have been told by many of our partners that we are the cornerstone of their coalitions because vulnerable people who will not help themselves will help their pet, - once they get to the event to see how much love and assistance they can get - they keep on trying!
We ONLY work with coalitions and partners to build community stronger!
just before the pandemic hit the US, we started a deprtment to help rural, new, small and startup nonprofits that were not only in classes, sponsored by the cities of Mesa, Chandler, Phoenix and Peoria, but also through individual mentoring. We also dor awarenes through meetups (5 groups) and social media; Linked up, facebook, guidestar, volunteer match...

The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year.
By recongnizing that the old model of top down assistance is outdated. We also became a member of the App next door's leadership to further the neighbor helping neighbor concept.
We also recognized that many vulnerable people are aftraid of the Blockwatch organization. One of the nation five programs of Citizen Corp, s we are working on a pilot program through the Medical Reserve Corp (MRC) of "neighbor helping neighbor", that will happen in Arizona first, before it is presented to the national MRC.
