PCADV and its direct service member programs have a rich history of community engagement and collaborations with other agencies and groups, such as Career Link, Children and Youth Services, Legal Aid, the Salvation Army, SNAP, Work Force Alliance, and others, along with agencies such as the the Women of Color Network, the Pennsylvania Department of Health, and the Department of Education and Human Services.

Despite so much uncertainty amidst the pandemic, PCADV and its local domestic violence programs never compromised in their charge to provide free and confidential services to survivors and their families.
At the start of the pandemic, PCADV mobilized to guide its 59 direct service local domestic violence programs in adjusting their services to continue supporting survivors in safe and effective ways amidst a global public health crisis. The Coalition quickly set up a COVID resource center on its website and convened weekly delegation calls to help programs navigate an array of pandemic operating challenges that compounded already demanding work.
