Dr Lopamudra Das Roy, Founder of Breast Cancer Hub is an MBA from Northwestern University-Kellogg School of Management and she also completed “Step into Impact” Nonprofit Executive Education Program from Kellogg. The BCH Board members are recognized leaders within their organization structure and plays a vital role in mentorship programs for our volunteers. Dr Das Roy, created leadership programs with a vision to inculcate the art of scientific thinking & thought leadership, motivate Breast Cancer Hub volunteers to serve the mankind, by spreading the word about Early detection & prevention of Cancer in the community, creating a social impact, stepping up to help save lives. BCH has also provided Digital Marketing, Strategic Planning and Management programs which helps the interns develop leadership skills, therefore developing community leaders from varied age groups.

Breast Cancer Hub believes in network and collaboration, reflecting our tagline #TogetherWeSaveLives. We have mobilized our community to engage in BCH mission programs, by providing opportunities to execute the awareness, providing authenticated approved materials for in-person outreaches, door to door screening and virtual webinars and create impact through social media. We have engaged in strategic collaborations with other non-profits, educational institutions and companies in USA, India and Africa, and have participated in collective impact efforts by developing shared goals, reaching broader audiences to help patients with treatment Aid, Support and Counseling for urban and rural sectors in addition to our direct Breast Cancer Hub’s grassroots work, providing sustainable solutions and taking accountability. Our research is approved by IRB USA and respective Ethics Committee Boards for other countries, and we have presented at conferences, and published our research in BCH website.

SAVING LIVES GLOBALLY: BCH continued to offer all our virtual programs in addition to progressing with core field work projects at the grassroots especially in the underprivileged sectors.
1.During our community outreaches globally, we maintained all the Covid-19 precautionary measures, keeping our team safe in the challenging times. Dr Das Roy conducted power-packed virtual & in-person outreaches,sharing her contact information & counseled each patient reaching out to her with concerns.
2.In the villages BCH adopted for door to door cancer screening, we accompanied the suspicious cases to local hospitals for further diagnosis and treatment, even during the Delta variant spread, to provide safety to the patients.
3.BCH research – Epidemiological and Clinical data analysis were conducted both through virtual survey and in-person study. BCH generated One-stop Early Detection Screening Cards in local languages, Cancer Articles & Educational videos in layman’s terms, creating impact through BCH social media.
4.BCH continued with Cancer screening & Patient treatment Aid support for the underprivileged populace, with extreme financial constraints, in the Developing countries through authenticated background validation of the economic situation of the patient’s family with diligent follow-ups of the Financial assistance utilization of the Aid.
5.Global Support Groups and Counseling – We provided analysis of the cancer diagnosis & treatment via email, phone & whatsapp platform in addition to in-person counseling and creating online support groups. We also published Advocate stories on BCH website to inspire others fighting cancer.
6.Covid-19 response: We provided food relief, masks, sanitizers to the villages we adopted for door-to-door cancer screening, treatment management and counseling in addition to building a Comprehensive list of Covid-19 Treatment Infrastructure Resources.
7.We executed online leadership programs for students through different internship projects
