Mission

Habitat for Humanity St. Louis is an ecumenical Christian housing ministry. We unite people of all races and religions to build houses in partnership with families in need. Our goal is to eliminate poverty housing. We seek to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat for Humanity St. Louis is one of more than 1,800 worldwide affiliates of Habitat for Humanity International. We bring families and communities in need together with volunteers and resources to build decent, affordable housing. Habitat for Humanity houses are sold with no profit made. Homeowners contribute sweat equity, and house payments are recycled to build additional houses.
