Mission

The Veterans Fund supports programs that assist thousands of veterans in 171 VA Medical Centers throughout the nation. These programs support mental, physical, and emotional recovery and give veterans hope, encouragement, the thrill of being remembered, a sense of being cared about and a better life. Among other activities, we support: physical, emotional, and creative therapy; Broadway-type shows that foster personal interaction with caring young people; and Help Hospitalized Veterans in that organization's purchase and distribution of audio tapes, video tapes, books, books on tape, etc. We also acquire and distribute CDs, books, tapes, and inspirational materials for the use of veteran patients in hospitals and nursing homes.
