Mission

Connecticut Public Broadcasting is the parent company of Connecticut Public Television (CPTV) and Connecticut Public Radio (WNPR). CPTV is a locally and nationally recognized producer and presenter of quality public television programming. WNPR offers news, information and entertainment programming available to listeners both on the radio and online. We work to add value to people's lives through programs and services that inform, educate, entertain and inspire our audiences. Connecticut Public Broadcasting has grown from a single station with one videotape machine to a statewide, community-supported network with four television stations, four radio stations and one cable network.
