We are committed to ensuring equity, access and opportunity for all residents of the Washington metropolitan area by leveraging philanthropic investment in our region's most effective nonprofit organizations. We and our three regional affiliate foundations -- Alexandria Community Trust, The Montgomery County Community Foundation and The Prince George's Community Foundation -- are part of a network of some 700 community foundations nationwide. We currently manage more than 600 donor funds whose assets total more than $360 million.
