Mission

Founded in 1976, Prison Fellowship Ministries (PFM) primary purpose is two fold. One, through Prison Fellowship PFM brings the transforming power and truth of Jesus Christ into the lives of prisoners so that they become productive members of society. Two, through Breakpoint, PFM equips Christians with a biblical worldview so they can impact the culture around them. In the past year, PFM estimates that more than 22,000 Prison Fellowship volunteers carried out ministry in more that 1,800 prisons. PFM is also active internationally through Prison Fellowship International, which is a global association in 114 countries around the globe.
