Mission
The mission of the YWCA of Seattle ยท King County - Snohomish County is to advance the quality of life for women of all ages, races and faiths, and their families. In support of this mission, the YWCA provides services to meet critical needs, promote self-sufficiency, reduce violence, eliminate racism and achieve equal opportunities for all people. The YWCA of Seattle - King County - Snohomish County serves over 40,000 women and families every year with programs to end homelessness, create jobs, care for children and youth, and prevent violence. The YWCA works with women in need to address multiple challenges and move toward independence, self-sufficiency, safety and dignity for them their families.
