Mission

In 2009, The Children's Museum of Richmond (CMoR) celebrates its 28th year of educational service to the Richmond community. The museum welcomes nearly a quarter million visitors each year and is proud to be a vital asset and cultural hub for the children and families of Central Virginia. The Children's Museum of Richmond has been at its current location for almost ten years, welcoming over 1.5 million visitors of all ages. The mission of the Children's Museum of Richmond is to inspire all children by appealing to their natural capacity for curiosity, exploration and learning. This mission is accomplished through exploration of exhibits, special programming and field trip classes.
