Mission

Jewish Foundation for Group Homes (JFGH) is a non-sectarian organization dedicated to enhancing the independence, dignity, choice, and community inclusion of adults with disabilities. Since our inception in 1982, the agency has grown to provide residential care and support to more than 150 individuals living in over 60 sites, including homes, apartments, and other living arrangements in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. In 2008, JFGH launched the MOST (Meaningful Opportunities for Successful Transitions) program, a one year transitional day program with the goal of helping individuals make a successful transition from educational services to an appropriate vocational or day program.
