Mission

The mission of Hoag Hospital Foundation is to inspire philanthropy that will help transform the hospital, the donor, and the community through assurance of excellence at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian. The Foundation conducts programs and campaigns that generate about $20 million per year in new gifts and pledges. Funds are earmarked for capital projects, equipment purchases, innovative program development and clinical research. Foundation funds are transferred directly to Hoag Hospital and represent the community's interest in improving the healthcare community. The Hospital is a 498-bed, not-for-profit, acute care hospital that offers a comprehensive mix of health care services, including Centers of Excellence in cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedics and women's health services.
