Mission

The mission of the Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven is to lead, build, strengthen and renew a dynamic local Jewish community and to provide support and caring for Jewish people in our community, Israel and worldwide. The Jewish Federation will strive to be the central organization and resource for communal planning, outreach and Jewish education. The Federation will endeavor: to raise the necessary funds to fulfill its mission; to support its beneficiary agencies, synagogues and other local and national organizations; and to represent the concerns and needs of our constituents in the Jewish and general Greater New Haven community, Israel and worldwide.
