Organization Mission
The Entertainment Community Fund (formerly The Actors Fund) is a national human services organization that fosters stability and resiliency, and provides a safety net for performing arts and entertainment professionals over their lifespan.
With offices in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, and a skilled nursing / assisted living / memory care / subacute care facility in Englewood, NJ, the Fund serves everyone in film, theater, television, music, opera, radio and dance. Since our founding in 1882, we have helped address the specific needs of entertainment professionals-with a unique understanding of the challenges involved with a life in the arts, and with the knowledge of what it takes to thrive in an often unpredictable industry.
Our health and wellness, career and life, and housing services are all designed to ensure stability, encourage resiliency and be a safety net for those who shape our country's cultural vibrancy.
